MEMBER BENEFITS

Service that stays with you.

Two seasonal cleanings

A spring appointment prepares the cooling equipment, and a fall appointment focuses on heating. Each visit follows a checklist appropriate for the covered system.

15% off parts & labor

When repairs are needed, your membership includes a discount on parts and labor. We explain the findings and quote the recommended repair before you authorize work.

Priority service

Members receive priority when arranging service. Call our office with urgent concerns so we can confirm the next available appointment.

No after hours fees

Your membership removes the added after hours fee. Diagnostic charges, repairs and other services remain separate. Please call to arrange after hours service; it cannot be booked online.

WHAT YOUR TECHNICIAN DOES

Real cleaning.
Equipment specific checks.

We inspect, clean and test the accessible components below as appropriate for your system and the season. Your technician reviews any concerns and explains additional work that may be needed.

SPRING SERVICE

Cooling & drainage

  • Inspect and clean the outdoor condenser coil, check coil fins and clean the fan blade.
  • Inspect the indoor evaporator coil and clean accessible surfaces as needed.
  • Check refrigerant performance, compressor operation and operating amperage.
  • Inspect and clear condensate lines and the drain pan; treat pans, traps and drains to help control algae buildup.
  • Check thermostat operation and calibration, airflow and cooling performance.

SYSTEM CHECKS

Electrical & moving parts

  • Inspect electrical connections and high and low voltage terminals.
  • Test capacitors and inspect relays and the contactor for wear.
  • Check motors, bearings, fan operation and the blower assembly.
  • Inspect heat strips, fan limits and related controls where fitted.
  • Check heat pump heating operation and defrost controls during the heating visit.

FALL SERVICE

Gas furnace care

  • Inspect burners and ignition operation; clean the accessible burner area.
  • Clean and check the flame sensor and verify proper heating operation.
  • Visually inspect accessible heat exchanger surfaces and check venting.
  • Check safety controls, blower operation and the temperature rise.
  • Inspect the condensate trap and drainage on condensing furnaces.

Access, equipment design and condition affect the work that can be completed during routine maintenance. Component removal, extensive disassembly and deep cleaning beyond accessible surfaces are quoted separately.

KNOW YOUR COVERAGE

Clear expectations
before the visit.

The membership covers routine maintenance for the residential systems listed on your plan. Tell us how many heating and cooling systems you have so the office can set up the right coverage.

Repairs, replacement parts, air filters, added refrigerant, leak searches and corrective work are separate from the included seasonal visits. Your technician will explain any recommended work and provide a quote.

Need maintenance for a generator, tankless water heater, dehumidifier or additional ductless indoor equipment? Ask about those services when enrolling. We’ll confirm the scope and separate price.

Ask about your equipment

COMMON QUESTIONS

Making the most of your plan.

How do I get ready for a maintenance appointment?

Make sure we can reach the indoor unit, outdoor equipment and thermostat. Tell us about changes in comfort, unusual sounds or recent work so we can address those concerns during the visit.

What if my system is already broken?

Tell the office when you book. A breakdown needs a diagnostic appointment, and a repair may be required before routine maintenance can be completed.

Do I need a membership to get a cleaning?

No. You can book the one time cleaning special without enrolling. The Herd Club adds ongoing seasonal care and member benefits throughout the membership year.

Does priority service guarantee a particular arrival time?

Our office will confirm scheduling and availability when you call. Priority service does not guarantee immediate dispatch or a specific response time.
